A home is a reflection of the people that live there, and Bollywood celebrities seem to cherish theirs fiercely. They keep their personal space close to themselves and seldomly share glimpses of their home with the audience. Actor Anil Kapoor recently featured in the new episode of Asian Paints Where The Heart Is along with his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor.

The actor not only gave the audience a peek into his home, but he also got emotional while sharing anecdotes and memories about his 4-storey mansion in Mumbai. The house is a sea-facing bungalow in Bandra with maximalist décor, three floors, and a terrace garden filled with plants. Through the show, the father-son duo takes the audience through the journey of their home, sharing how it is a reflection of themselves. The 65-year-old begins the video by saying that when he was building his house, he didn't have any tricks, fate, or luck on his side. Every brick, stone, and object in the house was the product of his blood, sweat, and hard work. The senior actor recalled that he wanted to buy a house first before marrying his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Sunita. The actors then go on to share a glimpse of their den, the gym, and the green terrace. Their house also consists of a closet stacked with hundreds of sneakers and a pulpit from a church, which would be a dream come true for many of the fans. While showing off his garden terrace, the actor shares that his wife and mother share a mutual love for plants and trees, which is very evident in his home, especially the terrace. His den is something out of a magazine cover, as it is customised to his taste. The room has wooden ceilings, dark wood furniture, and ornate mirrors, which give it a rich yet warm feeling.
